Cookie Crumbles Contest Winner Announced

Posted by Erica George Fri, 02 Nov 2007 21:39:17 GMT

The winner of the grand prize of $5,000 is Clayton Miller, of the Chicago, IL area. Clayton’s video, “Cookies,” was chosen by a panel of judges convened at the Federal Trade Commission’s town hall workshop on “Ehavioral Advertising: Tracking, Targeting, and Technology.”

The panel made its selection based on technical accuracy, presentation, and creativity. An “audience choice” winner was also chosen by the workshop attendees, “Got Cookies?” by Justin Schaack, Kristin Schaack, Tom Sorenson and Dylan Bindman.

Four of the five finalists, and a representative for the fifth, were flown to Washington, D.C. so they could attend the event.

As several of the panelists noted, the best way to learn about cookies is to watch all of the finalists’ videos. We congratulate our grand prize winner, and thank each of the finalists for their hard work and contribution to educating the public about cookies!
